As is customarily done every marking period, students were provided with questions that they must respond to in journal format. This implies a number of things:
1. The questions are generally forcing students to reflect on concepts or content that was challenging or integral to our overall course of study.
2. The response require a combination of writing and mathematics such that the student makes a convincing argument for whatever it is they are trying to communicate.
3. The lesson constitutes 10% of the term grade because of its long-term nature and the amount of work required to complete it.
